Important: Google acquired Fitbit in 2021 and has begun integrating the two services. Fitbit users are required to migrate their accounts to Google by January 2, 2026. This means that after this date, you will no longer be able to access Fitbit with your existing Fitbit account. To continue using your account and devices, you will need to move your Fitbit account to a Google Account.
Those that do not move to a Google Account by the deadline will no longer be able to use the Fitbit service. Historical Fitbit data will be retained until February 2, 2026, after which accounts and data will be deleted.
To connect Fitbit to your wellness account on the HealthyLife portal, please follow the steps below:
1. From Your Phone
- Download
Fitbit from the app store
- Open the Fitbit app
- Tap Account
- Tap Set Up Device
- Follow Fitbit's guide to sync your device with your phone
2. From the Portal
- Log in to the HealthyLife Portal
- Choose Track from the main menu
- Find the Fitbit link and click Click to allow access to your Fitbit activity
- Log in to Fitbit with your newly created Fitbit account
Important: You must access the Fitbit website through the portal in order to have your personal account sync with your Fitbit device. If you visit the Fitbit website independently, it will not retain the necessary information to pair your wellness portal with your Fitbit.
