Important Update: Google Fit Transitioning to Health Connect – What You Need to Know:
Starting May 6, 2025, the wellness portal will enable support for Google Health Connect via the MyWell App. As a result of Google Fit’s upcoming deprecation (June 30, 2025), we recommend all Android users transition from Google Fit to Health Connect as soon as possible (between the May 6th - June 30th, 2025) for a seamless wellness tracking experience.
To connect Google Health Connect to your wellness account on the HealthyLife portal, please follow the steps below:
1. From the Portal
- Log in to the HealthyLife Portal
- Go to Profile and then Mobile Access
- Click New to generate code and keep this window open
2. From your Phone
- Download myWell app from the app store (version 3.0.2 or higher)
- Enter the code you just generated
- Upon successful login, a prompt will appear to request permission to pair with Health Connect
- Select Allow to grant the necessary permissions to sync with Google Health Connect
3. Verify Data Sync
- Open the Health Connect app
- Ensure that the health data you wish to share is enabled
Install Health Connect (if needed)
Android 14 or newer: Health Connect is already built into the device.
Android 9–13: Users will be prompted to download Health Connect during setup.
Android 8 or older: Health Connect is not supported on these devices.
Important:: Please note that Google Health Connect needs to be open to sync data from your Android device. You will want to periodically open Google Health Connect so that all data is updated.
