Important Update: Google Fit Transitioning to Health Connect – What You Need to Know:
Starting May 6, 2025, the wellness portal will enable support for Google Health Connect via the MyWell App. As a result of Google Fit’s upcoming deprecation (June 30, 2025), we recommend all Android users transition from Google Fit to Health Connect as soon as possible (between the May 6th - June 30th, 2025) for a seamless wellness tracking experience.

Health Connect: How it Works

Health Connect is not a standalone fitness tracker. It acts as a centralized hub and facilitates data exchange between health and fitness apps.  Health Connect stores data locally on your device, enhancing privacy, and account holders can control which apps can access data stored in Health Connect.  That being said - Health Connect is a medium to help your health and fitness apps connect with the HealthyLife® portal.

Supported Apps Using Just Android Smartphone

  1. Samsung Health

  2. MyFitnessPal

  3. HealthifyMe

  4. WW (formerly Weight Watchers)

  5. Peloton

  6. Outdooractive

  7. Withings

Supported Apps Using an Additional Device

  1. Oura
  2. Samsung Health (via phone or Samsung devices)
  3. Tonal
  4. Coros
  5. Whoop

The health portal currently accepts activity and steps data.  Other trackers (or apps with special trackers) such as meal plans, hydration, glucose tracking, etc. are not supported.
